The Library / Media Center is open from 7:00 - 4:00 on school days. You should have a pass to enter the library. Books are checked out for 3 weeks and they may be renewed for an additional 3 weeks. The books should be returned promptly to the book drop so that others may check them out. If you lose or damage a book, you will have to pay for it. Overdu fines are 5 cents per school day. Library overdue notices must be cleared before report cards are issued to the students. Magazines may also be checked out for 2 weeks.
Occasionally, reference books and videos may also be checked out for special projects. A security system ensures that materials will be available for all students to use. The library also has a free copier and a free paperback rack. Please, no food or drinks in the library. Mrs. Niswanger appreciates your cooperation.

Card Catalog Info
The Card Catalog of the Library can be used to find books and other materials that are in the EVHS library collection. You can search the card catalog by title, author, subject or keywords. After inputing the data needed to find the item of your choice, the program will show you the Call Number for the item. With that Call Number, you can locate that specific item in the library. Each of the items has its own Call number. If you have trouble finding the item, you can always ask Mrs. Niswanger or a Teacher Assistant to help you find it. To access the Card Catalog, go to the Library and log on to a computer with your name and password. Then click on the "Card Catalog" icon.
