The purpose of National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to perform service, to promote leadership, and to develop character. Members are invited to join at the end of their junior year. In order to be invited to join, students must have a 3.5 or better academic average and must be deemed to have potential in the areas of service, leadership, and character as determined by a faculty committee.
