EVHS  finished 4th as a team at the Palisade Wrestling Invitational Tournament on January 14th. The Devils had one champion in Mason Ewing at 135 lbs.  Ewing was voted the tournament's outstanding wrestler of the lower weights.

Chris Harvey took 2nd at 160 pounds.  He lost to Cole Johnson from Hotchkiss.

Brendan Best lost by 1 point in double overtime to Tanner Ridgeway of Paonia at 171 lbs.

Kylan Kottenstette placed 4th at 152 pounds.

Jimmy Benavides took 3rd at 103 lbs.  He was beaten by Lucas Harvey of Palisade in the semi-finals.  Benavides and his team will get an opportunity for redemption as the Devils travel to Steamboat on Thursday January 19th to dual the Steamboat Sailors and the Palisade Bulldogs.
